What does getting involved and taking action really mean?

Getting involved and taking action in your own life means engaging and participating in your community to cultivate positive change. 

Examples of Ways to Get Involved and Take Action:

😊 Everyday acts of kindness — a smile, a few encouraging words, a simple check-in.

📚 Educating ourselves on the impact of our actions on others and the world.

🗣️ Spark meaningful discussions about issues (E.g. “Hey, guess what!? I recently found out scientists have been creating leather from mushrooms, isn’t that a more eco-friendly option!”

There are endless opportunities and ways of getting involved and taking action and it can look entirely different for each individual. Finding which methods work best for ourselves is the goal. A stranger may be having a bad day and take it out on you, or a simple compliment from a stranger could brighten your whole day, affecting each other is an inherent part of the human experience.
